Looking Forward to..

As a grade 12 student at Princess Margaret Secondary School, I am looking forward to many goals both long term and short. It is only September but it seems to be flying by pretty fast. I'm looking forward to my birthday which is October 7th and sixteen days after my birthday I get to go in for my New Driver's test! I hope I get it on my first try. Halloween is going to come around the corner, I'm not quite sure what I'm going to dress up as this year, but it should be interesting. Nothing really is happening in November, nothing that I'm sure of but it's another month closer to graduation. Ahh December will come and I'll have my brother coming home after a while, I'll get to see all my family during Christmas day and just have a good time. WOW that means New Year's is going to allow me to set some resolutions that are going to help me, I haven't thought that much of it yet. This also means it's a new year and you try and remember all the good times you had in 2009 and forget all the bad. Soon enough it's going to be February and there's only FOUR months until i walk across the stage. March will arrive and I'll have plans for a roadtrip with friends or go to Mexico and just have a great time during spring break for two weeks. Everything is going to settle down as University letters are being sent in April and May. JUNE!!! Graduation, Prom, final exams and summer is what i'm already looking forward to in September. Let's just hope that this year flies by and I won't have to count down the months.

My plans after I'm done school is to go to University either in Burnaby, Vancouver or Kelowna, but I'm not completely sure of what I'm going to do.

Top 3

If I had to chose my top 3 anything I would pick my favorite holidays throughout the year. December 25th Christmas, if only we had Christmas lasting everyday, with all the happiness with the family around and meeting cousins that i've never seen before. The presents being the best part and even all the suprises. Christmas dinner is also great too. My second favorite holiday is my birthay; October 7th. It's the one day of the year where no one can stop you from doing anything even my parents. The night where i have no curfew and friends being with me, getting all the neat presents always makes me happy, last but not least New Years. It's the one time in the year where you get to forget all about the bad memories in the previous year. New Years also means new resolutions! Even though you try to stick with them as much as possible there is always something that will prevent you from trying to stay on top of things.
My top 3 favorite holidays are Christmas, my Birthday and New Years, each for different reasons.

Superpowers

If I could chose any superpower I'd have to pick flying. Can you imagine flying like birds and planes? Imagine not having to walk anymore, Imagine always sleeping in and flying to school and never being late. Being able to fly would change my life. You'd never have to worry about taking a plane to places all over the world instead flying super fast and being home the same day. You can also save lives if someone was in trouble. For example, if there was a fire or tsunami on the other side of the world you'd be able to go there in seconds and save millions! Another reason why flying would be awesome is because you'd be able to migrate with the birds and see what they do. Flying can also save you from getting in trouble, if you were running late for a meeting, you'd be able to just fly there and act like nothing happened. There would be no traffic that would hold you back, the earth would reduce in the amount of pollution. As well as having positives to flying there is also negatives. Birds can also attack you because you may look different to them, people that are hunting for birds may accidently shoot you. I'd have to say that if I had any superpower it would be to fly high in the sky.
